| At
2 months of age, Jye was diagnosed with Laryngomalacia (deformed
epiglottis). He required an extended time in Sydney for the
diagnosis and then returned at approx 4 months of age for further
tests and again at six months for extensive testing. The repeated
trips have taken a financial toll on the family and the baby,
now 8 months, becomes exhausted with the long travel following
the tests. Private transport is unavailable and the primary
concern of his mother is the risk of contracting a chest infection.
