Robert [35] was diagnosed with cancer in early December 2004 and had an operation a week later. He requires regular chemotherapy at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Peter Longton - Pilot

A member of Robert's family conducted Earth Angel duties.

"The mission was completed successfully albeit the weather was marginal. We managed to avoid several threatening cloud masses with only occasional turbulence. Robert appeared to enjoy the flight, and I was pleased to be of some assistance to him. Let's hope he makes a full recovery. He has an excellent outlook on life and I was very impressed. I would like to do further missions, and congratulate you on your handling of this mission."
