Subsequent Request (5th Angel Flight)

20 year old Calvin from Leeton has been diagnosed with early stage Ewing's Sarcoma, detected by a tumour on a bone in his leg.
In order to continue regular specialised treatment that is not available locally, he needs to get to Melbourne. His treatment has weakened him significantly, so long road trips are too wearing on him.

AF2 was cancelled due to poor weather. Calvin arranged to get himself home by train.

We were fortunate to have good weather for this mission, which was completed without a hitch. Both Calvin and Tania are quiet young people with obviously a lot on their minds. Calvin feels there is a reduction in size of the bone tumour - let's hope he is right. Every mission makes me realise how lucky we are to have our health.
