SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: (15th & 16th Angel flights).
Young mother Lisa travels regularly to Sydney for her six month old baby boy Travis to receive necessary treatment at the Children's Hospital Westmead.
Baby Travis was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a musculoskeletal disorder characterized by multiple joint contractures. It is imperative children with this condition receive treatment early in life, to prevent the joints from stiffening as they grow. For the first six months of his life, Travis needs regular renewal of splints/ plaster casts and physical therapy then hopefully the appointments will become less frequent.
The financial challenges this family already struggles with are great. An Angel flight is always a significant reduction to the load they bear.
