Ten year old Sarah from Queanbeyan has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She requires regular chemotherapy in Sydney.

This Angel flight was to take her to Sydney, as the distance and her compromised immune system mean that road travel was inappropriate, especially at such a critical time in her treatment regime. Flying also minimises the strain on the rest of the family, reducing the absence of Sarah and her step father Lou from home.

"Another enjoyable flight. Very windy, low cloud; had to rely on instrument-only approaches into Canberra. Rotten weather conditions but my passengers survived very happily."
