Four year old Calib's Epilepsy (numerous epileptic daily seizures) has affected his development in communication and learning. He was being reviewed regarding his gait, as he was falling over and was not walking too well. An EEG was also planned.

This Angel flight was to take Calib, his mother Cheri, and his Aunt Michelle to Brisbane, as Cheri is a sole parent and is financially unable to fund a trip to Brisbane for a review at the Mater Children's Hospital. Also, Calib does not have the capacity to travel the eight hours by road.

"Purchased fuel and various companies supplied a discount. The Cab company at YCMU did both trips to and from the airport to Cunnamula Hotel for free. Cunnamulla Hotel supplied a double room for $35 (there was a catch! no hot water in shower (freezing)) "
