Angel flight 1 by Peter Gibson
Comment by Peter Patient did not arrive, no mobile service and a u/s public phone - so was trying to climb to the highest point, still getting very wet when Peter rang me back to ask if I had called him. After numerous mobile drop outs, Peter Sorted it all out and the passengers duely arrived. Did a great soft field take-off and we were on our way, almost instantly in cloud and very bumpily up to 9000 feet, then bumped around there until we flew right out of the trough and into visual conditions just before Wollongong - then it got really bumpy(!) all the way to Bankstown - but at least we could see something. It was great to catch up with Zac and Carol again. Zac seems to be progressing well and is a chirpy and very helpful boy. The trip was pretty hard going - but I have to admit I really enjoyed it all and it was great flying experience." |
