Comment by David "My 1st Angel Flight as pilot. Earth Angel Suzanne Osborne arrived 15 mins early with patient, 11 year old Warren, mum Rosalee & dad Michael which enabled us to depart Caboolture IFR for Roma right on time at 2:30 pm in perfect weather.
Went out at 8000 ft and had only slight turbulence most of the way. Flight time was 1 hr 03 mins. We were met at Roma by Warren's grandmother who took the family to their home. I didn't manage to get any photos (forgot my digital camera, even though I charged the battery the previous evening). Fortunately, Rosalee had hers and took a couple of pics.
I had a fairly quick trip back to YCAB at FL110 and just made it before all the kangaroos occupied the runways. It was great to help the Bland family. Dad Michael works away from home for extended periods and the flights greatly help to take the load off mum Rosalee." |
