flight 1 by Sam Clift Comment by Sam "Well I reckon I was doing something special Flying Edna (Mum) and adopted daughter Jesse down to Sydney to have her cochlear reattached. Jesse has a number of medical problems as well as 2 other brother and sister adopted all with medical complication. Edna mum has 3 other children all grown up and have left home. I take my hat off to Edna and Clinton for the mammoth task in bring up the 3 adopted children. We got away from Gunnedah on time and in to Bankstown in good time. I remembered to keep out of controlled air space and the trip down way uneventful. Earth angel was there to meet us and another bought them back at 2.00 for the flight home. Plane just started at Bankstown and did not think too much of it only that I may need to change the battery soon. Showed Edna and Jesse the sights of Sydney on the way out for another smooth ride home. Noticed the generator was not charging which became a real problem when trying to leave Gunnedah for the flight home. All in all Edna and Jesse were worthy passengers for Angel Flight and it is well that the Angel Flight Bears are strong as it got a real work out on the way down."
