SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 3rd and 4th flights.

Seventy-nine year old James from Emerald was required to have a review with a cardiac surgeon at the Prince Charles Hospital. As he has no family and is unable to travel by train due to his condition, Angel Flight took him on this trip to the Prince Charles Hospital.

"Picked James up at Emerald and deposited him safely at Glen Alvie Lodge in Rode Rd Chermside. James is a nice old gentleman who has a mobility problem. His carer Kevin was very helpful in getting him in and out of the aeroplane. I actually telephoned the Emeral Council ARO to see if we could get vehicle access on to the tarmac. He was very helpful and volunteered to come out and open gates for us but we managed to get him to the aircraft on an office chair with wheels. The spirit of the bush prevails."
