Fourteen year old Michael from Khancoban is undergoing treatment for Leukaemia at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

This Angel flight was for the continuation of his treatment in Melbourne.

"The mission involved a simple diversion to Corryong from a planned trip between Mount Hotham and Essendon. The weather had been poor all the previous night and the morning of the mission but improved sufficiently to get visual on the instrument approach into the very picturesque valley at Corryong. Michael and his mother Linda were well experienced veterans of Angel flights and enjoyed a comfortable trip down to Essendon instead of the very long road trip and were very appreciative of the experience."
