MISSION 2548 - TAMWORTH / BANKSTOWN / TAMWORTH

SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 9th and 10th flights.

Thirteen year old Luke from Tamworth had a brain tumor removed in 2004 and a second tumor removed in July 2006. He required a subsequent MRI at Westmead Children's Hospital as surveillance for recurrence/relapse. Being over 4 hours to travel by car, and due to Luke's condition, this Angel flight greatly helped him and his family travel to Sydney.

Comment by Robert

"The flight to Tamworth was a great flight and my passengers were great as well, but it was not to be so good on the way home. The undercarriage refused to retract completely, and we had to lower back down and fly with the undercarriage down all the way home, so the flight was very slow."
