SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 10th and 11th flights.

Brian from Merimbla required treatment in Melbourne for bone cancer at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. This Angel flight reduced the discomfort of lengthy land travel and also provided some assistance to the family.

"We arrived the day before on the Sunday in order to avoid the fog which was a feature of the local weather the previous week. In fact many VFR pilots have been cancelling missions into Merimbula in recent weeks due to fog build up. Although IFR rated I choose to always try to avoid IMC conditions if possible."

"Flight to YMER was uneventful (just the way I like it) however, had a bit of a fright on the way back to YMMB when the aircraft was caught in a thunderstorm near ELW. I have no doubt that the Angel Flight Angel was looking after me!! Thank you Halo II!!"
