Mission 4249: Coffs Harbour / Bankstown / Coffs Harbour

Subsequent Trip Request: 29th and 30th flights.

A three year old girl from Coffs Harbour was born with severe brittle bone disease (osteogenesis imperfecta). Regular trips to Sydney are required for ongoing treatment. Travel via road is very uncomfortable for her and can take the parents up to 3 days just to get to Sydney. This trip was for more surgery.

Grant's Comments:
"Another beautiful day for flying, Only a few bumbs along the way. I think Jemimah counted 2 or 3 big ones, which were not too bad so I was told at the end of the day - a courageous little girl."

"Flight went without a hitch. The wheelchair was dismantled and only just squeezed through the cargo compartment door, any larger type of chair could not be carried on this or similar aircraft."
