Mission 4671: Theodore / Archerfield / Theodore

Subsequent Trip Request: 9th and 10th Angel flights.

A seventy five year old gentleman from Theodore has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He requires post radiation check up in Brisbane at the Wesley Hospital and has no other means of transport to make this appointment.

 

 

Angel Flight Leg 1

Pilot: Jens Meinecke

Earth Angel: Victor Cumner
(6th Angel flight)

Jens' Comments:
"I got Ted onboard, and headed south, where we touched down in Archerfield right on time. Earth Angel Victor Cumner was waiting and soon whisked Ted away to hospital. We arranged to meet up again a few hours later. "

Jens' Comments:
"Ted got out of hospital an hour early, so we got going an hour early. There was a little more cloud about this time so about half way between Kilcoy and Gayndah I requested and received clearance to fly direct to Theodore - this put us clear of some build up and afforded smoother conditions.
I had Ted back on the ground about an hour early. "
