Eight year old Thomas has severe emotional and behavioural difficulties and all five family members are required to attend a residential treatment program. His thirteen year old sister Louise has Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitis. Given an 8 hour road trip would be a difficulty for Thomas, flying was the most suitable option. No closer treatment is available than Sydney for this Swan Hill family. The remaining family members are covered by IPTAS.
