Comment by Ted
"This was my first Angel Flight Mission. Departed from Redcliffe at 0800 for the flight to Chinchilla. Climbed to 8500 ft and the flight was smooth and uneventful. Arrived Chinchilla at 0845 and met Kayla and her Grandmother Pam. Following a briefing we departed for Archerfield. Climbed to 9500. However approaching Lake Wivenhoe we had to descend to 3500 to stay visual. A little rough for the last ten minutes, but arrived safely at Archerfied where we handed Kayla off to the Earth Angels for her trip to hospital. It was indeed an honour and a privelige to transport Kayla and her Grandmother on this mission. I have had a very successful career in aviation and it is very satisfying to be able to contribute something back through such a worthwhile cause. "
