INITIAL TRIP REQUEST

Five year old Hunter from Quirindi suffers from Hirschsprunge disease and is required at RCH for a medical procedure. He is the second child with this disorder and over the past 5 years the family have to make regular trips to Sydney for treatment.

Angel Flight took them on their recent trip as it has become financially and emotionally taxing on the family.

"A beautiful Spring day. Hunter's family were all at the aerodrome to send him off to Sydney. Winds for the leg to Bankstown were very favourable and we touched down 90 minutes after leaving, as opposed to the 5 hour trip by car that the family would usually make. Hunter saw lots of action at Bankstown and even managed a snooze for half the trip!"
