Fourteen year old Michael from Khancoban is under going treatment for Leukaemia at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

This Angel flight was for the continuation of his treatment in Melbourne.

"It was a pleasure to take Michael and Linda to Essendon. The other brother Toby could not come as he had gastroenteritis. Michael seems to be tolerating his chemotherapy quite well. He did tire a bit on the flight but that jouney by car would have been a lot more tiring."

"After the weather debacle on Sunday when it was just too windy to safely conduct the flight, the conditions on Monday were ideal, high cloud, gentle cross winds and moderate temperature. Young Michael fell asleep about five minutes after take off and Linda was absorbed in a book. We had a trouble free and very picturesque trip, but goodness the country is dry. All the big dams are very low and we obvioulsly need to both conserve more water and pray for rain."
