Angel Flight receives $600,000 from Your Jet Life lottery as two more draws are released

Angel Flight will receive $600,000 with thanks to Art Union, Your Jet Life who drew the prize of a SR22 Cirrus jet at Bankstown airport in June. 

500,000 tickets worth $15 each were available for purchase worldwide over the course of the lottery with the winning ticket landing in the hands of a pilot from Western Australia. 

The anonymous winner will embark on his Cirrus endorsement training shortly before the formal handover of the aircraft. 

Angel Flight, CEO, Marjorie Pagani said the money will go a long way in reaching our goal of putting a small jet in every capital city of Australia to help transport people from the bush to medical care. 

"Angel Flight is thrilled with the Your Jet Life lottery proceeds, and we are very much looking forward to the next series already underway by our great friends and supporters.

"These funds will be earmarked for the purchase of high-performance small jets, dedicated firstly to carrying health professionals to remote areas, in conjunction with our partners Ochre Medical, Bush Kids Qld, and Heart Kids Australia, and also to back up our core service of flying people of all ages across Australia, to access medical care in the major cities."

Two additional lotteries have been released by Your Jet Life this month with proceed going to Angel Flight to help reach the charity’s goal. 

The prizes of the two additional lotteries include a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter worth $1.2 million and a return private jet flight with a luxury city getaway valued at $285,500.

Owner of Monarc Global, aviation software company, Royce Crown said they established Your Jet Life in 2022 with the sole purpose of raising funds for the charity; more specifically to support their aim to put an Angel Flight jet in every capital city. 

“Unlike other aviation charities, Angel Flight receives no government funding and relies heavily on the donation of individuals, clubs and organisation.”

120,000 tickets have been released for Lottery 02 at $10 per ticket with a total prize value of $285,500. The prize includes a return private jet flight to accommodate the winner and 9 others, to either Melbourne or Perth, one week stay at deluxe accommodation and $30,000 spending money. 

Lottery 03 tickets are $15 with the prize valued at $1.2 million and includes a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter (with air conditioning), 12 months maintenance, hangarage fee, fuel card, insurance and private pilot license training.
