Angel Flight is a charity that coordinates non-emergency flights to help country people trying to deal with the triple trouble of bad health, poor finances and daunting distance. All flights are free and may involve patients travelling to medical facilities anywhere in Australia.
We had another meeting with the Minister's office, this time at Angel Flight. CEO Bill Bristow presented a copy of Angel Flight's 85 page response to CASA's Discussion Paper on Community Service Flying. We look forward to a positive response from new Director of Aviation Safety.
All Angel Flight pilots hold flight qualifications greater than those required by CASA, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
